in response to seekinghelp2012...how do you eat an elephant? one bite at a time. the answer is a snowball effect with a livable budget. key word livable. you cannot live on romen noodles and staying home. but you can eliminate that debt on your own con-solidation places are just that. even if they are ligit and mean well the power needs to lye on you. i have done this too. live and learn trust me snow ball that 500.oo a month in ten months you would have taken care of 5,000 of that debt, but at the rate it will go faster than that. because your other debts will be eliminated entirely. write down all of you debts even if there is an over due library book. 1 dollars. to largest debt home mortguage. pay only the minimum payments on all of them and focus the remaining money on the smallest or smallest 2-3 debts say a furniture bill or small credit card. and then pour the savings into next months debts and repeat. i got a easy to under stand from a chapter in the book called "Getting control: the complete guide to getting yourself out of horrible debt by troy flora available on amazon.com good luck! any qestions just ask me. i did it and you can too.

in response to ras1811...Pat It seem you and I are kinda in the same boat. I was a long haul truck driver. I have two tickets not paid that has my lic. suspended. The speeding ticket in Ohio 145.00 I know I owe. The overweight ticket in manchester Tn. The company was susposed to pay. They didn't now I owe 170.00 for it. With reinstatement fee, dup. copy of lic. and all 650. will put my CDLs back in my hands.I just had to have neck surgery Dec.20. I have not been able to work since July 2010. What is born and bread Americans supposed to do when they have no way to do any thing? I dont quailfy for Tenn. care, to help with medical help.I could go back to work in no time with my lic.
Greetings everyone. I want to share a problem I have. For five years I have been trying to resolve a traffic violation that was given to me due to lack of funds. I use to be a U.S. soldier in the active duty Army. When I no longer was in the Army, I decide to enroll in college. Well one particular day over five years ago, I was trying to film a school project from my vehicle. Honestly I did not have any money compared to the amount of money that was being paid to me from the military. Times was hard and I had no insurance on my vehicle, to include expired license plates, and expired registration when I was attempting to film a project. The police assumed that I could be part of some terrorist organization because I was trying to film planes at a small regional airport. The vehicle was towed by the police for lack of all the traffic violations. Every since those fines, I have not been able to obtain a good job without drivers license since my license was revoked due to the traffic violations. The fine is $1,405.00 all together since it was three different violations. I have not been able to save nor raise that kind of money, because over the last five years I spent 3 and a half of those years a full time college student. I really need to find a way or some help to remove this from my record so I can possess license and obtain a decent or excellent career or job. I have had a few small jobs, but they only assisted me in helping pay rent, food, public transportation, and utilities. I really would like to do better for myself, and help others in the process. If only I could resolve this problem, then I will be able to return the favor to someone who needs the help one day. Does any person out there know a logical solution, or can anyone lend a helping hand? Thanks for reading this.
in response to seekinghelp2012...Consolidating debts is rarely the best way to go in trying to reduce your debt levels. Best thing to do is to develope a budget and a plan and stick to it.
Does anyone know of a place to consolidate debts for persons with bad credit. I would even consider peer to peer lending if there are any wealthy individuals willing to help a single, graduate student, with a full time job. I've suffered some financial misfortunes but I'm trying to get back on track. I need about $50,000 and I can comfortably pay be $450 - $550 per month. Please help in any way that you can and it will be greatly appreciated.

God is still calling out to people, but sadly many won't listen to the call. Many put it off until another time, but they don't know when there last breath will be. Many never had the opportunity because they waited until it was to late.

I fear for where we are headed next. My faith is constantly evoulving and strengthening and I don't understand those who feel the same. But I pray for them.

Help! I need help on bills. I've been disabled for some time now (I had a stroke). I have a couple of bills that have gone into collections, and I was talking to a collector recently who mentioned these resources. If it's possible I would like to get these bills paid off. There are a couple that are $2000 and not being able to work to pay these off has become a problem. I don't make enough with disability to make payment arrangements in order to pay these off. I'm considered permanently disabled. I want to work, but because of the tremor I have in my left hand and very limited use of it, I'm not able.
I agree with you Mike. In the last four years I have lost my daughter, my husband, my dad and mon. I lost my mind with grief for awhile. Now when I pray I thank for the time he allowed me to have with them. By HIS Grace HE has healed my soul. PEAISE GOD.

Hello to all on aidpage. I never thought I would ever face such adversity and still be holding my head high. I was with my friend my lover my soulmate my wife. We married while I was in prison. I got out April 8TH 2011. and got to hold my soulmate and life was beautiful. On July 19 2011 she died in our bed and my life has been done hill. I lost my job shortly after she passed away.in a landscaper certified. My bills are two and a half months behind can't get.help cause I'm single and don't have children. Just need someone to talk to.

in response to Need_yeshua...I have been on another website: freecharitycars.org. It's non-profit & runs strictly on used, donated vehicles. These are then donated to those in need. My husband & I are both disabled & haven't has a vehicle in over 2 years. Can't get to dr. appts, hospital testing, bloodwork, grocery shopping. Bus routes are getting cut out, here in PA, and winters are especially hard. Applicants are so kind there. We vote for eachother daily & can transfer votes to those really in need. You should login & see all of the people really hurting. Brian Menzies, Founder & CEO started this organization in 1996, & since provided over 4500 low income people with vehicles. Thanks for all of your prayers....I truly believe in intercessory prayer. Although me kind, loving husband, Ralph & I are both disabled, we truly need a car, but cannot afford one on a low fixed-income. I've registered with www.freecharitycars.org, & I'm adding friends, voting for others in need, in return. "With God, all things are possible". Logon to that site & my username is Ratt. You don't have to be in need to vote for me. Our healing may or may not come. One half of my digestive system-I'll never get back-removed in surgery. Just have to live with the flareups (similar to Chron's). Dr. tells me not to lift more than 10 lbs, due to 1st issue & 3 repaired abdominal hernias. My husband is bi-polar & "schizo-affective", 6'5", & had attempted suicide 3 times. I'm staying with him-he needs my help. I do beleive we are slaves to our local &federal goverments no matter what country we live in just one example [personal property taxes] no matter what we do we still will never own our property [houses, land, exct.] as far as an inside job[9 11] Ido wander sometimes you know middle east [oil] and whatever else our gov, and others might want. have a good one.
in response to Need_yeshua...Unfortunately, I am 55, disabled & my one & only car just died 2 yrs ago. (1985 Chevy Blazer). I desperately need a small, older compact sedan just to get to dr. appts, grocery shopping, etc. I have diverticulitis-1/2 intestines & 1/2 colon removed, (Surgeons told me that I'm 1 step from a lifetime colostomy bag), along with 3 repaired abdominal hernias. I'm not permitted to carry more than 10 lbs. (Just a gallon of milk weighs 7 lbs). But I have been carrying way beyond 10 lbs. My town has become a "ghost town-no grocery stores, just a Dollar General. A mesh net screen was inserted inside my abdomen to cut down on scar tissue-I'd like to work, at least part-time, but Pittsburgh & suburb's bus routes are being discontinued one by one. My neighbors & "friends" either don't have cars, too busy to help, or are unsaved & full of hate within their hearts. I pray for their salvation nightly. I've worked steady for over 30 years, always gave poeple rides, did not charge anyone, so this is how I get paid back in my time of need. Please pray for me, I know God helps those who help themselves, and I am trying to find a part-time job, (living hand-to-mouth). An older car (compact automatic sedan) would really take a lot of anxiety away. You & I have been given the spiritual gift of discernment in the WORD, & thank Him for this-HE is awesome... Of course that means greater blessing or greater cursing.
Its unfortunate we see prophetically, and by discernment U.S. is turning from God.

I pray that many will take heed to his calling.

My profile name is katrina1956; just checked out your profile page-I love it!!! I live in PA & watch Christian TV often. I've worked all my life & donated to various charities. The International Felowship of Christians and Jews was always on top of my list. I watch Joyce Meyer & "In Touch" with Dr. Charles Stanley, along with many others. I feel so much better when in the Word. Just seeing the word "YESHUA" reminds me that I'm not alone now, in my needs, and takes my depression away. I am a "true" reborn, evangelical Chritian. I know that Jesus Christ/Yeshua is the ONLY way to GOD and salvation. My current disability, financial need & desperate need of a car WILL change, only with HIS help, and many prayers. We all know that the U.S. MUST protect & remain allies with Israel, as demanded in the Torah. God will turn His back on us & we WILL be cursed unless we heed His warning: I will bless those that bless you, and curse those that curse you. Everyone : please pray for the peace of Israel.
